Welcome to Dalbeattie Riding of the Marches, a new tradition rooted in the history and heritage of our town. Inspired by Dalbeattie’s historic burgh past, we celebrate local pride, horsemanship, and community spirit as we create a lasting event for future generations. Join us as we honour our past and ride forward together.
Important Information
The Dalbeattie Riding of the Marches will be held the Sunday after Civic Day.
Riders should meet at Biggars Mill and be ready to ride by 2:00 PM.
Parking will be available from 12:00 PM, with stewards on site to assist.
Safety remains our priority, with marshals and designated safety personnel positioned throughout the route, supported by full risk assessments, emergency procedures, and clear communication on the day. All riders are required to follow the official event regulations
